Alexis Benot is an editor, creative director, and co-founder of the post-production studio Paume and the sound studio Kitchenette, both based in Paris.
He treats editing as a field of experimentation, where rhythm, texture, sound, and image bleed into one another. His work explores the tension between narrative and sensation, seeking less to illustrate than to provoke a physical reaction in the viewer.
